six small inputs sit at the hexagon corners and form a clean, focused verification widget

A separate fixed version computes real pixel positions from the SVG polygon (viewBox → rendered coordinates) and places node centers exactly on the hex vertices

ResizeObserver & resize handlers keep it correct across sizes.
