A Fan-Made Project for One of the Most Interesting Horror Visual Novels I've Played

Recently I played #The False Sun, an indie horror visual novel that surprised me more than I expected.

At first glance, it looks cozy: a summer farm, warm sunlight, and a childhood friend named Silas.

But the story slowly becomes something much darker.

You return to your grandfather's farm with almost no memory of your childhood there. Everyone seems to remember you. Especially Silas.

The strange part is that you don't remember him at all.

What makes the game memorable isn't jump scares. It's the growing feeling that something is wrong. Everyday conversations, farm chores, and familiar places gradually become unsettling.

The game has 20 endings, and none of them feel like a traditional happy ending. Themes of memory, obsession, control, and freedom run through every route.

After finishing it, I found myself constantly looking through community discussions, ending theories, and route notes scattered across different places.

That eventually led me to discover a fan-made project dedicated to the game:

It includes story information, ending references, FAQs, and resources for players who want to explore more of the game's routes.

If you're into psychological horror, visual novels, or character-driven stories with unsettling atmosphere, The False Sun is worth checking out.

And if you've played it already, which ending stayed with you the longest?
