Motivation behind Sequoia: Men's Wellness and why it matters
🚀 Over the past few months, I’ve been sharing updates about one of the projects I’m building together with my friends and colleagues — Denis Galka and Olga Nevdakh.
The project is called Sequoia: https://peerlist.io/asaskevich/project/sequoia-mens-sexual-wellness
Today, I’d love to share the motivation behind Sequoia and why it matters.
💬 Talking about sexual health is hard. Many men feel uncomfortable opening up to partners, friends, parents — even to doctors. That fear often leads to silence, and silence leads to problems being addressed too late.
👩 From our experience at medical conferences and through the work of our chief sexologist, Olga Nevdakh, we’ve seen that men usually seek help either very late or only under pressure from their partners. Why? Cultural stigma, fear of appearing “weak,” or simply lack of accessible tools.
That’s where Sequoia comes in:
đź”’ Anonymous self-checks and self-diagnostics
🏋️ Exercises, knowledge base, and regular health checkups
🌍 Access to trusted doctors for online consultations in your language, with ratings and expertise visible upfront
📊 The results speak for themselves: according to our study, 79% of men reported improvement after just one month of using Sequoia. We presented these findings at the annual congress of the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS) in Dubai.
We believe in a scientific approach and hope Sequoia can make a real difference — helping men take care of their health and making conversations about intimacy less intimidating.
