Vencode is a lightweight screen recording tool for Linux with both CLI and GUI interfaces, written in Rust. It leverages ffmpeg to capture high-quality video and audio, supporting adjustable frame rates and real-time control. The GUI is built using egui and eframe for a minimal yet responsive experience. Audio capture uses PulseAudio, and recording status is managed through a PID system.
