WordPress powers over 40% of the web, and its plugin directory holds more than 60,000 free and premium plugins. This tool cuts through the noise by providing a personalized shortlist of plugins matched to your specific problem and role. Instead of generic lists, answer three quick questions to get recommendations tailored to your needs.
Two tracks are currently live:
1.WordPress Plugin Finder — covers 9 categories (page building, forms, SEO, speed/caching, security, backup, analytics, email list growth, and membership/courses), matching across 66 curated plugins based on your pain point and your role (blogger, agency, ecommerce store, course creator, nonprofit, etc.)
2.Jira/Atlassian Plugin Finder — the original quiz, matched to your team's specific Jira Software, Service Management, or Work Management pain points
No sign-up is required to use either quiz. Recommendations are based on a weighted rubric (ratings, active installs, update recency, WP version compatibility, support, and more) rather than which vendor pays the highest commission — free tools are recommended over paid ones wherever they're honestly the better fit, and this is stated plainly on results pages. The site also publishes in-depth plugin review pages and head-to-head comparison pages (e.g. WP Rocket vs LiteSpeed Cache) for popular WordPress plugins like Rank Math, WPForms, Wordfence, UpdraftPlus, and MemberPress.
The site earns revenue through affiliate links (disclosed on every relevant page), but plugin selection and ranking are never influenced by affiliate relationships — several top picks in each category are completely free tools with no affiliate program at all.
