I publish several apps and spend a good part of every day answering the same support questions. Gmail's built-in templates got painful once my library grew: awkward editing and no quick search. So I built my own.
Email Templates for Gmail is a small Chrome extension plus a Gmail add-on. You save plain-text replies and find them by title, insert one at the cursor in a new message or reply, and reorder the library so frequent answers stay on top. After sign-in it syncs across computers, and the add-on brings the same templates to the Gmail app on Android and iOS. Import and export give you a backup, and saved templates keep working during short connection drops.
No automatic sending: you always review and send the email yourself. It's free. I'd love feedback on the template-management flow and on what would make it more useful for your own repeat emails.
