GameLake is a free site of classic games that run straight in the browser on phone, tablet or computer.

There's no download, no sign-up and, at the moment, no ads. Families and classrooms will find card games (Solitaire, Spider, FreeCell), puzzles (Sudoku, Minesweeper, Nonograms, Mahjong, Jigsaw, Water Sort, 2048), word games (Crossword, Word Search, Word Guess) and board games against Hop the frog (Chess, Checkers, Reversi, 4 in a Row, Ludo, Dominoes, Sea Battle, Tic-Tac-Toe).

In the logic and card games, a "Teach me" button highlights the next good move and explains the reason in plain words.

Minesweeper boards never need a guess, and every Solitaire deal is checked to be winnable.

There are daily puzzles, a "Classic look" retro switch and free strategy guides. The site is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, French and German, and word games use real word lists for each language.
