Why I am building a software company with zero features

Most modern software platforms are engaged in an arms race to add more buttons, deeper navigation menus, and endless customization options. They call it flexibility, but it actually creates distraction.

When you spend more time setting up layouts and checking off labels than doing your actual work, the system is broken.

That is why I created Nullstep. The entire goal of the workspace is to strip away the over-organization noise so solo builders can maintain momentum and focus entirely on execution.

We live by a specific value: Atmospheric Minimalism. This means designing interfaces that feel calm, clean, and futuristic. Every single element on the screen exists for one reason only: to help you execute your high-priority milestone without friction.

As a founder focused heavily on high-end web design and UX, building this to be completely zero-latency meant pushing the boundaries of fast client-side states. I had to wrestle with AI agents, fix complex backend routing bugs, and clean up unexpected technical debt to protect that smooth user experience.

Productivity is not about having a perfectly organized archive of things you plan to do later. It is about building real momentum today.
