Levende is a free iPhone and iPad app that brings your kids' drawings to life. Scan the drawing from the fridge, and Levende cuts out the figure, finds its head, arms and legs, gives it a skeleton and makes it wave, walk, jump and dance.
Put several figures on a stage with music and sound effects and give each its own move, or stand them on the kitchen table in AR and pinch to make them bigger. Then record a video to keep, or to send to Grandma.
Scan with the camera, take a photo or pick a picture
Automatic cut-out, with a brush for the arm that went missing
A 16-joint skeleton found by itself, adjustable by dragging the dots
10 moves: wave, walk, jump, dance, jumping jacks, cheer, spin, kick, clap and zombie
Stages with paper, garden, night or studio backgrounds
AR on your table or floor
Record videos with the music mixed in, save them to Photos or share them
Made for iPad too, and in seven languages
Everything runs on the device: Apple's Vision framework finds the figure and its pose, the drawing is skinned to its skeleton and drawn with Metal, and the AR stage uses ARKit and RealityKit. Drawings, photos and videos are never uploaded. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your kids' drawings stay theirs.
Free, with every feature. If you like it, you can become a Supporter inside the app for a few extra app icons and a silly little game. Nothing is ever locked.
