Referat is a free iPhone app that records meetings and turns them into minutes. It writes down who said what, gives every speaker a name and makes a short summary with decisions and action items you can tick off. Recording keeps going with the screen locked, and you can search across every meeting you've ever recorded. Share the summary by email or export as text, PDF or subtitles. Transcription runs on-device, so audio never leaves your phone. No account, no ads, no subscription, no minute limits – a private alternative to Otter.
