Most startup ideas sound great in the head.
But the real test? Do people actually want it?
That’s where an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) comes in. It is mini version of your product that solves just one but core problem. Not broken but might not be fancy as well. It’s out there in the hands of real users.
Why waste 6 months building the “dream product” when you can launch in 6 weeks, get feedback, and actually know if you’re on the right track?
Plenty of examples where MVP has helped product evolution based on customer feedback. Airbnb, Instagram, Dropbox,
Airbnb didn’t start with millions of listings. They tested by renting out their own apartment. Dropbox? Just a simple video. Both validated the idea before building big.
The point of an MVP isn’t to impress but to validate impact. Learn fast, fail fast and cheap, and adapt smart.
So if you’re building a startup, perfection could be a long term game. Focus on what matters -
✅ Solve one real problem
✅ Launch fast
✅ Listen like crazy
Build. Learn. Repeat.
That’s how great products begin.
Cheers!
