DeadDrop is an encrypted delay-tolerant networking system designed for computers that are not necessarily online at the same time. I built the project around store-and-forward communication: a file can be queued on one machine and delivered when the endpoints eventually encounter a usable transport, such as a local network connection or physically transferred storage. DeadDrop operates without requiring an account, cloud service, or continuously available central server and includes a Rust SDK, CLI tooling, networking components, releases, and supporting documentation.
