Open Reason is an open, verified dataset and model ecosystem for coding, science, mathematics, and human reasoning. I developed the project around provenance-aware ingestion, strict licensing controls, independent verification, reproducible dataset generation, and transparent source policies. The project includes the dataset pipeline, validation and policy infrastructure, Hugging Face dataset releases, and a family of CPU-oriented language models ranging from small experimental models through a 443M-parameter XL model. Open Reason is designed to make the provenance, licensing, and verification of training data first-class parts of the ML workflow.
