Building Uvilox AI: Solving the 80ms Latency Barrier for Emergency Accessibility

Building Uvilox AI: Solving the 80ms Latency Barrier for Emergency Accessibility

Hey Peerlist crew! 👋

I wanted to share a quick update on what I've been building and the massive problem my team is tackling at Uvilox AI.

👁️ The Vision

We are creating a real-time sign language interpreter and automated AI calling system tailored specifically for the deaf and non-verbal communities. Our goal is to give them instantaneous, direct access to emergency services (911) and healthcare providers without relying on delayed third-party human relay operators.

🛠️ The Tech & Traction

In emergency situations, every millisecond counts. Our biggest engineering hurdle was eliminating the latency built into standard computer vision models.

  • The Milestone: We successfully optimized our pipeline to hit sub-80ms latency and a 97.4% recognition accuracy rate.

  • The Launch: We put our initial beta out into the wild with zero marketing budget. The response from the community was overwhelming—hitting 571 unique visitors and 1,810 requests on Day 1 strictly through word-of-mouth.

🌐 Let's Connect

We are currently opening up our early-stage seed discussions to scale up our core server infrastructure, add compliance layers, and expand our modular language pipelines.

If you are an early-stage investor, a deep-tech builder, or simply passionate about accessible AI design, I would love to connect, swap notes, or get a warm introduction to ecosystem enablers!
