Observer: AI-powered observability inside your editor
I built Observer to solve my own problem: the constant context-switching between my IDE and PostHog was killing my flow. Every backend log check meant leaving my editor, writing a query, scrolling through results, and trying to remember what I was debugging in the first place.
It started as a simple log viewer in VS Code. Once I had live events streaming in, the natural next step was an AI analysis layer that runs every 30 seconds to surface anomalies automatically. I then added chat so I could ask follow-up questions about specific logs without ever leaving my code.
Zero config. Plug in your keys and go.
What's live Real-time log streaming, AI-powered anomaly detection, conversational debugging, all inside VS Code.

Would love to hear from this community: what observability tools do you wish lived inside your editor? What's missing from the current dev workflow?
