Transparent AI: Ask your finances a question in plain language and get an answer built from your aggregated data, with a citation for every figure. Identifiers are tokenized before anything reaches a model: an IBAN becomes a label, merchants are stored as tokens, the raw bank description stays encrypted in your account, and person-to-person payments are never sent to the AI at all. A public table called What the AI sees lists, feature by feature, what leaves your account, what is protected and what is stored, including the uncomfortable rows: to read a receipt the whole image is uploaded, because reading it is the point. Cloud models run in the EU. On-device AI is built but switched off: it scored 77.6% on my test set against an 80% bar, so it stays off until it is good enough.

No bank connection: Aurio does not link to your bank. Everything comes in through statement imports, Shortcuts capture and email forwarding, and every import goes through a review step before anything is saved.

Security and Privacy: Your data is encrypted at rest and tokenized, in an EU database. Aurio is informational only: it never moves money, never issues invoices and never files taxes. You can export or delete everything from Settings at any time.
