Tilekind Room Preview is an experimental, MIT-licensed tool for exploring tile ideas on a room photo before making a decision.

For tile customers, it helps compare visual directions before ordering physical samples. For retailers, it offers a shared visual reference for discussing colour, layout and customer preferences.

Mark up to four wall or floor regions, adjust perspective, tile scale, rotation and grout, protect objects from the overlay, and export a PNG preview. Optional AI image generation uses your own compatible API connection; provider charges may apply.

The tool runs locally with Node.js and a desktop WebGL browser. The standard preview works without an AI API. It is a visual planning aid, not a measurement, quantity calculator, product specification or installation guide. Colours and scale are illustrative: confirm choices with physical samples and supplier information.
