I'm building Sales Coach, an open-source (MIT) alternative to Gong. It's a work in progress.
People I talked to were far more interested in sales coaching than in my old product, and many said Gong is out of reach for smaller teams. So I'm building the coaching part in the open.
What works so far:
- Upload calls or import them from Fathom, Fireflies, tl;dv, Gong, Close, Aircall, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Quo, with transcription.
- Scoring against a built-in sales methodology like Sandler, or a rubric from your own talk track, with scorecards and manager score corrections.
- Keyword and AI concept trackers, saved searches, comments, a clip library, and action items.
- A deal board on HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Attio with MEDDICC evidence and risk flags, plus HubSpot writeback and a Gmail/Outlook email timeline.
- Ask Anything over calls and deals, with answers that cite timestamped quotes.
- Self-host free, or use the hosted version. Either way you bring your own model keys.
Building next: a native meeting bot, Zoom import, Salesforce, and an AI-predicted forecast.
I'd love blunt feedback, especially on the rubric model and which gap you'd need closed before trying it.
