Speaker Cleaner is a free browser-based utility for iPhone and Android users whose phone speaker sounds muffled after light moisture or loose dust near the external speaker grille.

It plays a guided 90-second low-frequency sound sweep directly through the device speaker. The sweep moves through a bounded 150–190 Hz range to create gentle mechanical motion that may help shift small droplets or light, loose particles near the grille. Results vary by device and condition; it is not a guaranteed fix.

No app, signup, microphone access, or audio upload is required. The sound is generated locally with the Web Audio API, making the tool quick, private, and easy to try in a modern browser.

Before starting, remove the case, disconnect cables and wireless audio, wipe visible moisture from the outside, and point the speaker opening downward. Use a comfortable-high volume, run one cycle, then pause and test familiar audio.

Stop if you hear worsening crackling or distortion, feel heat, see a liquid-detection warning, or the phone has been submerged or damaged. Speaker Cleaner is an optional aid for moisture near the external speaker grille; it cannot dry internal components or repair liquid damage.

The project combines focused product design, responsive web UX, safety-oriented guidance, and privacy-conscious implementation to turn a specific troubleshooting moment into a simple, accessible web tool.
