ALCHM is a reflection technology company building psychologically safe tools for self-understanding.

It was created around a simple question:

What kind of technology deserves access to our inner lives?

Most products are designed to increase engagement, retention, and dependence. ALCHM takes a different approach. It helps people preserve meaningful context, return to important experiences, recognize recurring patterns, and deepen self-understanding without diagnosing, coaching, scoring emotions, or replacing human judgment.

At the center of ALCHM is Khepera, a reflective intelligence designed to witness what is already present in a person’s writing. It does not tell users who they are, what they should feel, or what they should do. It reflects what they have already expressed and helps them return to it with greater perspective.

ALCHM is built around several core principles:

Human agency comes first.

Privacy is emotional architecture.

Capability is not permission.

Reflection should never become manipulation.

Not everything valuable should become data.

AI should know when to stay quiet.

The user remains the final authority.

The product is designed without streaks, pressure mechanics, emotional scoring, or engagement loops that turn reflection into another task to maintain.

ALCHM is not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support. It is a private reflection space for the moments between insight and integration; the commute home, the sleepless night, the recurring pattern, the thought that returns days later.

Alongside the product, ALCHM is developing a broader body of work around trustworthy AI, reflection, memory, dignity, and human agency, including the visual essay series The Future We’re Building.
