Burffee is a storytelling platform where seekers and storytellers explore ideas, different perspectives and share meaningful stories with the world.

They are on a mission to create a close-knit community of content publishers and consumers and boast of an unusually significant engagement rate. They also have a solid technology platform for content management, which is an achievement by itself.

I was invited to come on the Board of Advisors to mentor the team and guide them as they execute their vision.

I was asked to come onboard to help FusionCharts scale as a company to $100M and beyond. This was the first role I held where I wasn’t the CEO or Founder of the company! After studying the company intensely for a week, I conceptualized and created something called the Experience Team - a unique technique to help the already mature company grow and innovate at breakneck speeds without breaking existing teams, structures and processes. I came onboard as the #2 person in the company as the Chief of Experience.

The Experience Team is a cross-functional team that works across the board in Sales (Involved in Lost Deal analysis, Reaching out to Enterprise customers, ..), Marketing (GTM, Content Strategy, ..), Evangelism (Created a framework to measure and track this magical beast), Design (Managing Design Pipeline, bringing in best practices, ..), HR (Hiring frameworks, Culture Specs, ..), and lots more. Chief of Experience

Having been a programmer for more than a decade at the time and seeing how databases weren’t given the same first-degree treatment as codebases when it came to versioning and development workflows, I created a distributed version control system for databases, the first of its kind. In a short span of a year, we launched multiple versions of our tool to thousands of registered beta users.

Klonio was one of the most intense products I’ve ever worked on. Versioning and building a system for code is one thing. In the end, its a text file. Building similar tech for databases was a whole different ball game. And at the time, the Klonio GUI desktop tool, which was used to locally version and manage database repos, was more advanced than that of GitHub in terms of product and design.

We still have thousands of active beta users and we receive emails from them and others to this day.

Founder & CEO

I founded Rockode in 2012. Initially headquartered in my college dorm room, we started off as a product company working on Gusko - our first product. We also did Technology Services and Consultancy in parallel to build a stable source of revenue, which eventually funded our products.

Rockode is now an umbrella company with several products in our portfolio and we still do Services and Consultancy. Our most recent adventure is Clergo.

As a core member of the team these last few years, I have helped Rockode grow and thrive, providing value to clients and fostering innovation across our products and services. From dealing with Fortune 500 clients to handling day to day operations, Rockode has been a huge learning experience for me, and I continue to learn more every day.
