We came up with a recipe recommendation engine that takes in ingredients & cuisine preferences as an input & gives you the best suited recipe for you. This was one of the landmark presentations of the course of INFO 5304 - Data Science in the Wild.

Newspedia is a novel approach to viewing NEWS on the TV. Creating with FuboTV's platform in mind, Users can view multiple news channel previews from the platform on their phones, get headlines from the web that are related to the news they are watching. The team conducted extensive user studies and ethnographic studies to determine behaviors that compliment Live TV & news viewing for all age groups. Using NLP and Machine learning techniques the team then derived news context to fetch related content from the web and map similar content on the FuboTV platform as well.
