Hey everyone 👋I’m the indie maker behind <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="break-all link-break text-gray-500 hover:underline" href="https://z.tools">Z.Tools</a>.I started building it because I kept running into the same problem: too many small tasks, too many tabs, too many random utility sites.Convert a file. Compress a PDF. Share something between devices. Pull clean text out of a PDF. Remove an image background. None of these are hard problems, but doing them smoothly still felt weirdly annoying.So I started putting the tools I personally wanted into one place.<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="break-all link-break text-gray-500 hover:underline" href="https://z.tools">Z.Tools</a> is basically my attempt to build a fast, useful toolbox for everyday internet work — across documents, media, text, dev tasks, design, and a few AI workflows where AI actually helps.A few examples:<ul><li>document conversion</li><li>P2P file sharing</li><li>OCR to Markdown</li><li>Background removal</li><li>AI image generation</li></ul>A lot of the product has been shaped by scratching my own itch, but I’m very aware that what feels useful to me may not be the same for everyone else.
