On a service trip with my high school, I and 11 other students stayed at a church in San Antonio. We worked on homes outside the city as well as repairing parts of the church.

I applied to go on a three week service trip and cultural experience to Iten, Kenya. With 9 others, I worked at several grammar schools. For this trip I fundraised over 800 dollars to aid in buying school supplies and rebuilding several school rooms.

I worked as a subcontracted designer for Kevin John Gomez, a NYC based web and user interface designer. I was responsible for redesigning his portfolio, executing some revisions based on client feedback to an App Store candidate, as well as creating the information architecture and wireframes for a web based recruiting app.

I love the concept of combining aesthetic and function into something beautifully simple. I think an app or website should inspire and create a bond between the product and the users.

I was a counselor for 2 weeks at Boulder Running Camp. There I was responsible for a group of campers, as well as daily duties to keep the camp running smoothly.

 I also managed the company's Twitter account during the second week.
