Description:

We're building RAKSHA — an AI-powered highway emergency triage platform backed by BMC Mumbai. Passengers send WhatsApp voice notes from accident scenes. Our AI extracts severity, victim count, and location, then dispatches alerts to nearby hospitals in real-time.

We need a backend engineer who can build and own the core AI pipeline.

What you'll build: WhatsApp Business API webhook integration (receive voice notes + location), OpenAI Whisper speech-to-text pipeline with audio preprocessing (noise reduction, format conversion), LLM-based triage engine that extracts structured emergency data from transcripts, dispatch engine that matches incidents to nearest hospitals and sends alerts via WhatsApp + SMS, PostgreSQL database and Redis queue for real-time processing.

Requirements: Python (FastAPI or Flask), experience deploying at least one ML model in production (not just notebooks), familiarity with Whisper or similar STT models, LLM API integration (OpenAI or Anthropic), Redis/RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL. Bonus: WhatsApp Cloud API experience, Twilio/Exotel.

Paid test task (₹3,000): Take this sample Hindi voice note, transcribe it using Whisper, and extract severity score (1-5), victim count, and vehicle types using GPT-4o-mini API. Deliver working Python code + API endpoint in 48 hours. Deadline: April 30, 11:59 PM IST.
