Job description
Dyte provides developer friendly live video SDKs that allow developers to easily add 1:1 calls, group calls, and webinars right within your platform. Our low code approach and user-friendly documentation mean you are ready to go live with fewer lines of code.
Dyte also offers plugins that allow developers to add real-time applications like a whiteboard, youtube player, and AI applications such as background changer and live audio transcription with a few of lines of code.
What you will do?
One line answer - Be a true advocate of Dyte’s SDKs
Blogs
Write use case blogs, tutorials, and how to guides.
Manage the content calendar along with the technical team.
Work with the growth team to distribute the content.
Understand the customer pain points and write content on that.
Work with external developers who are interested to write on Dyte.
Write migration guides.
Developer Relations
Do friction logs every month with the help of external developers.
Tie up with the events and communities, and get their events hosted on Dyte.
Create release videos.
Increase the number of Dyte engineers participating in conferences as speakers.
Own Dyte’s Discord community.
Promote and incentivise the Dyte community to write guest blogs.
Share the feedback from the community with the internal teams.
Answer all queries across the board - Stack overflow, Intercom, and Discord.
Create an ambassador program and create champions of the product.
Requirements
You should have 2+ years of experience in web development, coding, developer education, and technical writing.
You should have experience writing sample apps and demos in two or more languages - Javascript, React, Node, or Express
You should have experience working with cross-functional teams (growth, engineering, sales, and customer success)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to teach others what you learn.
You should have the willingness to fail forward, learn, unlearn, and grow.
It’s a plus if you have a personal blog.
It’s a plus if you have run a developer community previously.
It’s a plus if you have an active online presence within a few developer communities.
It’s a plus if you are an active contributor to open source projects, standardization working groups, or tech communities.
