Founding Engineer (AI Agents / Voice)

Heard (heard.dev) is the voice layer for AI agents. It tells you what Claude Code, Codex and your other agents are doing, out loud, and lets you answer them by voice. We're growing fast, we're funded, and we ship every week. Now we need engineer number one, working directly with the founder.

San Francisco, New York, Toronto, or remote (US and Canada). Full-time. $100k-140k + 0.5-2% equity.

What you'll build

• Agentic systems: agents that observe, decide what matters, and act.

• Real AI/ML depth: LLMs, speech, real-time models, evals, the stuff that makes agents actually good.

• Architecture for scale, from a few hundred power users to millions of agents talking to their humans.

• The product and the company, not just the codebase.

You've probably

• Built with LLMs or agents in production, not just demos.

• Got an AI/ML background, or gone deep enough that it doesn't matter.

• Scaled something real, and have great taste in product.

• Wanted to own outcomes, not tickets.
