About WUMN

WUMN is building a fashion-tech ecosystem that connects customers with designers, boutiques and other fashion professionals. We are creating a platform where customers can discover fashion, explore designer portfolios, customise outfits, consult with designers and use AI-powered experiences to move from inspiration to the final product.

We are now looking for a technical co-founder who wants to build the company with us, not simply work for it.

The Role

As Co-Founder & CTO, you will take complete ownership of WUMN's technology and work closely with the founder to build and scale the business.

This is an equity-based co-founder opportunity, suited for someone who believes in building a company from an early stage and wants meaningful ownership.

What You'll Own

• Define and execute WUMN's technology roadmap

• Take complete ownership of product engineering

• Build and improve the web/mobile platform

• Make architecture and technology-stack decisions

• Build scalable backend systems, APIs and databases

• Integrate AI capabilities into the platform

• Improve performance, security and reliability

• Establish development and deployment processes

• Hire and lead the future engineering team

• Work directly with the founder on product and business decisions

• Move quickly from ideas → prototypes → production

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• Strong hands-on software engineering experience

• Experience building products or MVPs from scratch

• Strong understanding of full-stack development

• Experience with technologies such as:

  • TypeScript

  • JavaScript

  • Next.js / React

  • Node.js

  • APIs

  • Databases

  • Cloud infrastructure

• Strong understanding of system architecture and scalability

• Ability to take complete technical ownership

• Product-first and problem-solving mindset

• Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment

We'd Especially Like Someone Who

• Has previously built or launched a startup/product

• Has experience with marketplaces, e-commerce, SaaS or consumer products

• Understands AI/LLM integrations

• Can build quickly without over-engineering

• Thinks like an owner rather than an employee

• Is comfortable making decisions with limited resources

• Wants to build a company for the long term

What This Is NOT

This is not a traditional salaried CTO job.

At the current stage, this is an equity-based co-founder role. We are looking for someone willing to invest their technology expertise, time and energy into building WUMN with us.

As the company grows and generates revenue/funding, compensation can evolve accordingly.
