This is an initiative I have created to de-mystify what my team does despite it's many touch-points with the wider business.

Using Google Hangouts to broadcast training sessions and panel discussions on all manner of topics relating to Digital & New Media along with project management, workflow and Lean/Agile methodologies to interested management and staff.

So far 6 such sessions have been held with between 15 and 92 attending the live broadcast and then dozens more viewing the recording.

More are planned to be held at a rate of two per month. This idea is also to be spread to other parts of the company to introduce the ways in which each part of the company connects with the others.

D&P Management Website

Bringing website back in house to Channel Ten Darwin from an outsourced provider who delivered a system with very little in house control. The new solution was delivered in a simple page builder using Joomla and was considerably lightened up CSS-wise and given a very new clean, fresh look.

Migrating a network of nearly 100 websites from using a banner ads manager within each site, to an external banner ads manager, Google's Doubleclick for Publishers. Includes set-up, testing, benchmarking, writing of user materials and pushing in to live production environment.

Project Management of the software development and integration of flight status, hotel, flight and parking bookings in to a new responsive Joomla-based website for Linfox's Avalon Airport near Melbourne. Included all non-design facets including mobile responsive layout for desktop, phone and tablets, specifically, accessibility-aware elements to offset an aesthetics-heavy design and inclusion of many added extras along the way from the client. Had to design the backup process as well as full redundancy of the site to production-ready copies in two continents, it's backups to cloud services in two continents as well as plugging in of enterprise-level monitoring services and analysis tools.

Inherited a custom-written PHP-based CMS from the provider of the previous website, the desire was to streamline the process of the network adding content so that both radio station sites would be the same. After gaining access to the various servers and accounts I managed to make a copy of the more current site and duplicate it before customising it in to the destination brand. There are still some PHP issues to take care of, but this project was delivered in a useable state to the client who is happy to continue with further work on it.
