VP Technical Operations

After being a CIO and Technology Executive I have decided to work with Alan Levine and create DAVirtual CIO.  Alan and I have decades of technology experience and are creating a Company that is able to help a lot of non-profit companies capitalize on their Information Technology.  We are all about utilizing smart and simple approaches to IT.  Not every non-profit can have a CIO on staff and many don't need that level of expertise day in and day out, but many need help from an experienced CIO that has been there and done that.  This new venture is exactly that!  We can help organizations manage projects, create IT Governance Plans and recognize their IT strategy.

Hired to bring leadership and vision to the top technology role. In six months was able to assume responsibility for all web development and infrastructure. Quickly developed relationship within and outside the organization to build a plan to manage significant changes to infrastructure and web development.  Have raised over $100,000 for the organization through my technology partnerships.

Chief Information Officer

Defined and implemented technology roadmap and Best Practices to drive continued growth, and enhance delivery of services to users.  Provided dedicated leadership and framework to actively identify needs and resolve critical issues. Directed teams in successfully aligning technology with business needs to drive continued growth. Oversaw the design, delivery and management of key IT services, covering desktop computing, server and network infrastructure, telecommunications, and end-user support. Complete oversight for team of 22. Managed a 7.5 – 11 million dollar budget supporting all aspects of information systems department.  Functional areas of responsibilities span project management, budget planning and monitoring, regulatory adherence, network and system security, business impact analysis, cost benefit analysis, technology needs assessments, disaster recovery and contingency planning, and auditing and risk assessment.

Assistant Vice President

Directed planning, evaluation and implementation of key technologies/processes to enhance overall performance of $300M, multi-site health care services company. Oversaw 12-person technical/support team and $1.2M budget.

Manager, Information Technology Operations

Luminary Photo is a professional photography studio catering to people and events.  Reasonably priced, great work and family owned and run.  We photograph non-profit events, weddings, family functions, corporate functions, headshots, family portraits, maternity and babies.  We shoot on location with a completely portable studio.
