HackPhoria was the first 24 hour Nationwide Hackathon organised by the IEEE Student Chapter of Bennett University which saw participation of over 100 students. The event took place alongside the university's cultural festival, Uphoria on 14th Feburary 2020.

— I was responsible for writing outreach emails to attract sponsors for the event.
— I was also the event volunteer, I helped with setting up the event, and with the registrations.

Pulse at Bennett University is a student club that organizes many fun and recreational events throughout the year for the university students.
I was the part of the "Gaming" team in Pulse, which was responsible for organizing Mobile and PC Gaming events.
Apart from the gaming-related work. I also volunteered and helped with other events throughout the year.

— I was responsible for creating and managing the game server during the gaming event.
— I was also responsible to rectify any technical difficulty and problems that occurred during the event in a timely and calm manner.
— I got the opportunity to work and get comfortable with network switches while organizing such gaming events.

Apple's World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) is an annual event where software developers interact and discuss Apple's latest software technologies.

— I furthered my experience in iOS Development.
— As a part of WWDC, I attended sessions, which included SwiftUI, Designing for Dark Mode, CoreML 3, ARkit 3 and much more. In addition, I attended labs on Swift Playgrounds and Siri Shortcuts.
— Learnt how to efficiently port iOS apps to MacOS Catalina and above.
— Met with Apple Engineers, Designers, and Recruiters during the scholarship orientation as well as during the WWDC week.

— Ported a local SQLite polling server written in NodeJS into Rust, reducing CPU usage drastically and reducing database access latency by over 15%
— The Server made use of Multi-threading, thread-locks, serde_json, and MsgPack.

— Implemented live chat and video/voice conference using PubNub, and Agora Voice and Video SDK respectively.
— Was tasked with refactoring the codebase from GraphQL to REST API, writing Unit tests for signup, login, etc. Fixed various bugs related to both UI and Logic by making intensive use of Trello boards.
