User Interface Designer

Worked closely with fellow HQ designers, product managers, and UX developers to achieve client and user goals. My responsibilities included leading ideation and concept explorations, defining digital strategies, and developing high-end, useful digital products.

I designed the platform app for Viva Video, VidStatus and Game Show which provide video social media and video editing capabilities for over 500 million active users around the world. Additionally, I supported the creation of visual and branding assets for sales and marketing across multiple mediums, designed wireframes and high-fidelity UI prototypes for both Viva Video and VidStatus apps, and analyzed various sections of Viva Video's home screen menu to institute data-driven changes that reduced user drop-offs and increased conversions. 

Finally, I used A/B split testing to experiment with various features and elements in the Viva Video Portal.

Design & Product

As the sole designer, I was responsible for developing the company's visual identity and standard operating procedures, as well as creating advertising materials that align with contemporary market trends. I collaborated with a cross-functional team including the co-founder, product manager, and development coordinator to achieve business goals and meet user needs.

I have extensive experience and expertise in creating a diverse range of designs, including branding and marketing materials, and have a strong ability to collaborate with various teams within the organization.

During my tenure as an individual contributor and designer at Canva India, my main focus was on comprehending the specific design needs of the Indian market. 

I was responsible for producing localized templates that prioritize user experience, and collaborated closely with the international design team to pitch design ideas and variations based on data on daily active users and the most frequently used templates.

Through this approach, I was able to help improve user retention rates.
