I'm using Ebitengine, a Go 2D game engine, to expand my Go knowledge. Along the way, it's turned into building small games. Surprisingly, a lot of game-development challenges are related to enterprise development - players notice when your game lags or has bugs!

While digging into WebAssembly and Kotlin, I figured it'll be more fun to try and build a retro-style game. The main logic is done in Kotlin, which compiles to Wasm and runs in the browser. This core interacts with the HTML DOM, which was a good lesson for me as I'll be doing some of this soon, but in a more enterprise-style application.

Absolute silliness in Go, Ebitengine, WebAssembly and such. Bouncies is a silly little game that allows me to experiment with various aspects of Go in a visual format. Plus it forms a known framework to structure some of my Introduction to Go talks around.

Exploring the HTML Canvas can be tedious and boring, unless you actually build something with it. As part of my research into computer-generated images, I played with JavaScript and the HTML Canvas a bit and made something. It's simple, yet you can do interesting things with it.
