Helped maintain and manage a company extranet website used by WU agents around the world connected to a legacy back-end system. https://wuagentportal.westernunion.com/ap/login.do We used Team Site's Interwoven Enterprise level Content Management System and worked with a team of developers in India with project managers in the USA and Costa Rica.
As a special project, I CREATED, DEVELOPED and OPERATED an intranet site used by the Costa Rica call center to improve productivity from call agents. This intranet project was my idea and I implemented the project during my free time. Later I sold the idea to management and we rolled out the intranet internally for all call center agents and it was a HUGE SUCCESS. Agent on the phones loved the tool because it helped them give better & great customer service over the phone because of all the centralized information they needed for their work. This intranet project is my success story during my work at Western Union.
