Gnanesh Balusa

Gnanesh Balusa is a Machine Learning Associate 2 (Level 3) at Amazon, Hyderabad, contributing to Nova and Alexa, two of the most widely deployed AI systems globally. Nova supports 300,000-token context windows across 15 languages and 11 AWS regions on Amazon Bedrock. Alexa powers 600 million devices across 80+ countries and 60,000 device models, processing over 100 million daily interactions. His work spans the full ML lifecycle: distributed training on AWS Trainium delivering 3 FP8 PFLOPs, inference optimization on Inferentia2 at 190 TFLOPS FP16 with 32 GB HBM, and production pipelines that processed 626 billion inference requests on Prime Day 2025 via 87,000 chips on SageMaker. He drives model monitoring, A/B testing, and real-time observability through CloudWatch and SageMaker Model Monitor across fault-tolerant multi-region deployments.
