Contributed to ideation and led the engineering efforts to design and develop an in-house analytics engine to solve for gaps in performing advanced funnel and cohort analysis to enable the team make better, data-backed product decisions.

Set up delivery processes and created an optimised service release strategy resulting in an increased engineering productivity by cutting down TTD (time to deployment) to multiple environments by 86% for 5 microservices.

Refactored the existing documents and created an organised knowledge base of over 350 internal resources, improving the engineer onboarding and reducing time spent per project on administrative tasks by 40%.

Identified 12+ customer pain points via my networking and community building initiatives and recommended features to fellow PMs, that enhanced user experience product-wide.

Drafted and executed 8+ minor UX iterations to improve the discoverability for some of the most important features in the team’s domain by 15% (projected).

Brainstormed and singe-handedly shipped an independent review moderation system (automated; with fallback to human-supervised) which acts as a gatekeeper to more than 1.2 million reviews solicited by BigBasket every year and is used by a team of 20+ outsourced and 5 in-house content moderators to review 2500+ of them every day.

Conceptualised and developed the internal admin portal for managing product catalog (visibility and fulfilment), search engine and reviews and ratings which is used to manage an enormous catalog of 500,000 SKUs across 25+ different cities in India on the BigBasket app.

Took initiative to give back to the community by building and making available as an open source offering - a small react library that acts as a plugin over React-Admin to solve an essential pain point of most users - hierarchical menus. This laid down a cultural foundation of open-source at BigBasket and is being used by 50+ individuals and companies in their implementations now.
