AI Tutor Lite V1

Built a production-style asynchronous REST API to demonstrate the Cache-Aside pattern, significantly reducing database load and optimizing response times. Caching Strategy: Implemented Redis as an in-memory cache layer for frequently accessed user profiles, configuring automatic cache expiration via TTL (Time-To-Live) and handling explicit cache invalidation on profile updates and deletions. Database & Migrations: Integrated PostgreSQL as the persistent source of truth using SQLAlchemy ORM, and managed database schema evolution seamlessly with Alembic migrations. Containerization: Containerized the entire application ecosystem (API, PostgreSQL, and Redis) using Docker and Docker Compose to ensure consistent multi-container communication and isolated development environments.
