Using a microcontroller, I designed and created a shoe that can tell users how to navigate to a waypoint with vibrational motor feedback. It can also alert people of obstacles in their path.

GPS Haptic Shoe

Using an Arduino and other components, we built an EEG machine that can approximate concentration levels by measuring alpha waves (10 Hz). This involved a multistage amplifier and filter and a Fourier transformation.

Created a model to predict credit card defaults by using Markov chains and neural networks.

Implemented an 18 instruction ISA in Verilog and programmed an FPGA with it. We could then write custom programs and execute them on our FPGA.

Created a face tracking electric Nerf gun. Using servos, a camera, and a Raspberry Pi our Nerf gun could track faces by using a Haar Cascade and shoot them after issuing a warning.

Transformed a small RC car to accomplish several tasks. First, we implemented a PID speed control to maintain a constant 4 ft/sec speed on flat and sloped ground. We also used a camera to implement steering so that the car could follow a black line on the ground. This was accomplished using a PSoC and custom circuitry.

Created a Linux Shell using C that could run standard Linux commands and hold environmental variables.

Implemented a MIPS instruction set in a virtual processor using C++. The processor has a 5 stage pipeline and a cache.

Reimplemented a music detection algorithm in MATLAB to identify music from its audio file.

Shazam Implementation 

Built a 3-D space shooter game in Unity with C#. The goal is to kill waves of enemies that exhibit a flocking behavior. The movement of the game is constrained around a spherical planet.
