PowerUp is a strategic and financial planning program aimed at seed-level female-led ventures which are generating revenues. It combines an immersive 4.5-day bootcamp with seven quarterly one-day follow-up meetings to ensure ongoing and consistent support for the length of time it takes to raise the next round. Our purpose is to bridge the gender funding gap by reducing execution risk and accelerating the flow of capital into female-led ventures worldwide. I organized meetings for selected entrepreneurs to pitch high growth, early stage companies to the Board of Investors and prepared investment overviews on each company for the Angels identifying pros & cons after each meeting. I still continue to attend investor meetings and serve on the screening committee to select presenting firms.
