Self-host any project on your own VPS, no sysadmin skills required.
PanelAlpha Engine is a free, open-source hosting engine built to become the easiest way to host a project on your own VPS. Whether you're building a website, experimenting with something you vibe-coded or simply trying out a cool project you found on GitHub, Engine helps you get it online without having to manage every part of the server yourself. You get the convenience of a modern deployment platform while keeping full control of your infrastructure. There's no platform in the middle, no vendor lock-in and no need to hand over your projects to a third-party hosting provider.
Built for developers, vibe coders and AI agents
PanelAlpha Engine takes care of the hosting infrastructure so you can focus on building. With MCP support, you can manage everything using natural language through your favorite AI agent. Ask it to deploy an app, check your server or manage your projects, and let it handle the technical work. Prefer doing things yourself? There's also a CLI and REST API.Here's what you can do with it:

Deploy projects from Git or local files to your own VPS with one command.

Let AI agents manage your hosting through MCP, with project-specific access tokens and safeguards against accidental changes.

Manage domains, SSL, databases, backups and restores without juggling multiple tools.

Create staging environments and preview URLs to test changes before going live.

Monitor your projects with built-in statistics, logs and resource usage tracking.

Keep your projects isolated and protected with Docker containers, firewall rules and a web application firewall.

Integrate with Cloudflare for DNS, tunnels and caching.

Free, open source and yours to run
PanelAlpha Engine is licensed under Apache 2.0. You can install it on your own server, explore the code, contribute improvements or build your own tools on top of it.We're working toward a simple goal: making self-hosting accessible to everyone, whether you're an experienced developer or someone who just built their first app with AI.Check out the project, give it a try, and let us know what you think.Website: https://engine.panelalpha.com/GitHub: https://github.com/panelalpha/panelalpha-engine
