Jatayu Charitable Trust(JCT) is a Non-Governmental Organization registered in Chennai. Jatayu is the brainchild of a group of youngsters who have efficiently served society since 2013. Being a founding member, I have spearheaded and organised many social initiatives like blood camps, “Make a Wish” campaigns, tree plantation drives, etc. In addition, I have actively volunteered in various disaster relief works for Chennai Floods (2015), Kerala Floods (2018) & Gaja Cyclone (2018). Apart from volunteer activities, I have been working on visual designs, web design, and designing apps like volunteer portals for JCT.

B.Tech Information and Communication Technology

Master's degree

I pursued my master's thesis at RISE as a HCI researcher on the topic "Ethics of Extended Realities"

During my master's thesis, I conducted a comprehensive Systematic Literature Review on the current state of ethics surrounding Extended Reality (XR) technologies, such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality. My research aimed to identify and examine the ethical issues and concerns arising from the implementation of XR technologies across different domains. Additionally, I investigated the adverse effects and barriers created due to these issues and outlined ethical solutions and recommendations to address the identified challenges.

UX/UI Designer

I interned as a researcher in the "Interactive Machine Learning for Personalised Physical Training" project funded by the Swedish Research Council and led by Professor Annika Waern, Uppsala University.

In this project, the project team investigate how machine learning can support the personalisation of out-of-clinic physical training. The researchers combine current research into open-ended tools for instructed physical training, with approaches to interactive machine learning to make tools adaptable to the individual.

During my internship period, I was responsible for researching, prototyping, and fabricating wearables with sensors that could collect the needed data and empower the interactive ML model to provide guidance and better feedback. I also conducted user testing sessions to validate the designs and improve them.
