In 9th grade I volunteered as a teacher to teach English at local government/municipal schools. This was was the first classroom teaching experience I had received.

English Second Language Teacher

I have actively participated in humanitarian and relief operations managed by BAPS Charities. These include:
1. Flood Relief - Assam, Uttarakhand, Orissa: My primary task was to collect relief material, package it and load into relief vehicles like train or trucks. 
2. Earthquake - Gujarat: Since this issue affected my city itself, I was on the field collecting relief material like clothes, grains and daily necessities.
3. De-addiction camp: I was actively involved in helping people get rid of their addiction to tobacco and other carcinogenic drugs.
4. News-paper recycling: During my high school vacations I participated in old news-paper collection drive across my locality. Money collected from selling these would be used in providing cheaper notebooks to school children.
