Building Brain Scanner, a workspace for reviewing AI coding sessions and choosing the next step

Kevin Lozada • Peerlist

Brain Scanner is a hosted workspace for developers using AI coding agents. Connect Claude Code or Codex through MCP to keep project context, recorded sessions and next tasks together. When a session goes off track, inspect the agent's submitted changes, reported checks, decisions, blockers and any included file diffs. Explore the project map, review the recorded history, then queue a scoped next task for your connected agent. You can edit or cancel queued work from the dashboard.Use it to return to a project or hand work to another supported agent. Copy or download a session summary, check it against current source, and continue with a clear next step.Free access is available now. Try the public recovery demo before creating an account, or connect an agent and map one project.A few important boundaries: Brain Scanner displays records submitted by your agent; it does not independently verify every result. Queuing a task does not run it. The homepage's one-click recovery flow uses illustrative data, while live projects provide session reviews and queue controls.Public recovery example: https://brainscanner.dev/#recoverFirst-project guide: https://brainscanner.dev/guides/first-project-handoffPublic documentation: https://github.com/kevin-lozada-santos/brainscannerGallery: illustrative public examples, not live customer projects.1. Explore mapped files and relationships in the public example workspace.2. A public recovery example: inspect reported checks, submitted diffs, and earlier decisions before choosing the next step. The one-click Accept and queue interaction is a demonstration; current live projects use recorded session review and dashboard task controls.3. Follow a session’s goal, recorded work, and outcome in the public Context example.4. Brain Scanner: review your coding agent’s recorded changes and decide what happens next.
