Almanac - Uncharted Indian Travel DiscoveryI built this platform to solve the friction of discovering and planning trips to uncharted Indian destinations and heritage sites.The Tech Stack:<ul><li>Frontend: Next.js &amp; Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development and instant load times.</li><li>Hosting: Deployed on Vercel to handle edge caching for high-res images.</li><li>Data: Compiled a custom database of specific Indian locations (like Leh-Ladakh).</li><li>Map Integration: Utilizing Mapbox for 3D visualizations of palaces and statues.</li></ul>The Challenge: I leaned heavily on AI as my junior developer to write the core Next.js syntax so I could focus on the architecture and data curation. My biggest hurdle right now is Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO). Because the site operates strictly on an outbound affiliate model, I am actively seeking feedback from designers on how to make the UI build enough visual trust to earn the user's click.I am open to brutal UI teardowns and UX feedback!
