About Causly Server
Causly Server is an open-source MCP server that gives AI agents the tools to work across the entire software development lifecycle — from inspecting code to shipping and verifying changes.Instead of keeping an AI agent limited to generating code or performing isolated actions, Causly Server connects it to the systems a real project depends on: files, Git, GitHub, databases, CI/CD, infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and team tools. It runs locally and connects to your MCP-compatible client, keeping execution on your machine and under your control.
What It Supports

Filesystem — Read, write, edit, move, copy, and search files

Git & GitHub — Branches, commits, PRs, issues, Actions, and CI workflows

Databases — PostgreSQL and MySQL queries and schema inspection

Supabase — Project and management operations

Docker — Container lifecycle, builds, inspection, and compose

Terraform — Infrastructure planning, applying, destroying, and state management

Vercel — Deployments, logs, verification, rollbacks, and health checks

Sentry — Issue search, inspection, and triage

Notion, Slack & Gmail — Work with the tools surrounding the development process

Project Intelligence — Detect the project stack and run relevant tests, linting, and builds

Secrets & Security — Local encrypted secrets, permission levels, risk classification, redaction, and activity logging

Causly Server currently provides 181 tools across 16 categories.
Beyond Individual Tools
Causly Server also provides higher-level workflow tools that combine multiple capabilities into complete development workflows.ship_change can inspect changes, create a branch, run checks, commit, push, and open a pull request.fix_ci can retrieve the actual failure information from a failed GitHub Actions run so the agent can work from real CI output.verify_ci_fix can push the fix, monitor the workflow, and verify that CI is actually green.deploy_project can check project health, run tests and builds, deploy the project, and verify that the deployed application is responding. The idea is simple: give AI agents hands, not just a chat interface.Causly Server is open source and designed to be run locally with your own environment and credentials.
