As a Judge at the 2023 McGill Physics Hackathon, my role was assessing the intersection of technical prowess and visual storytelling within each project submission. The core of my responsibility lay in evaluating the technical execution of projects through the lens of their aesthetic and the effectiveness of their communication. This position required an understanding of both the scientific underpinnings of the projects and the principles of design and visual communication. In this capacity, I examined how participants employed visual elements to enhance the comprehensibility and appeal of complex physics concepts. My assessment criteria spanned the clarity of visual representation, the cohesiveness of design elements, and the innovative use of visuals to simplify intricate theories and data. Additionally, I focused on the ability of these projects to engage and inform a diverse audience, highlighting the importance of inclusivity in scientific communication.

Soulbound Labs Inc. is a Montreal company building two AI products: ClawCraft, an AI coworker for small business owners, and Keylark, an AI leasing assistant for property managers.

ClawCraft lets a small business owner describe a task in one sentence and have an agent carry it out across the tools they already use, like Gmail, Sheets, Notion, and Calendar. Keylark automates the repetitive work behind leasing for real estate teams and property managers, from lead follow-up and listing creation to property research and cross-channel communication.
