Delivery of an IT system for smart home management in Internet of Things scenario.

The project was implemented in close cooperation with client, which delivers smart devices. The main target of the project was to produce solution for automatic devices management, translating low level bluetooth api on custom business logic, such as "turn on the lights". Based on this solution was developed custom rule engine, allowing end-users to program devices according to the model If This Then That. Project included distributed messaging between system and devices, high level of security, both encryption and authorization and user notifications via WebSocket protocol.

Availability and replication was delivered through microservice architecture. More than 10 separate Spring Boot applications were produced, using high availability solutions from Spring Cloud and Netflix such as Service Discovery, Request Collapsing and Client-side Load Balancing. Front page was developed as Single Page Application using AngularJS, exchanging messages with server using HTTP Rest and WebSocket.

Smart Device Management - my.oort.in

Delivery of a comprehensive IT system, enabling the submission of questions and getting answers from the National Criminal Register (KRK) as well as from the European Criminal Records Information System (ECRIS) via the Internet, without the need to visit the KRK Information Office.

The service is available from 1 July 2014 at the Internet address https://ekrk.ms.gov.pl.

The project was implemented comprehensively, we provided a turnkey solution. Within the scope of the project was to produce a custom software for the System e-KRK (front-end and back-end) and set-up of the whole System, including functional analysis, design, delivery of IT infrastructure, integration with existing IT software used by KRK, integration with the Electronic Platform of Public Administration Services (ePUAP - epuap.gov.pl), integration with payment transfer service provider.

This project was executed in a consortium of two companies – Sii Poland (the leader of the consortium) and Cohesiva. The solution was delivered in a very short, three-month time.  Analytical work, design and implementation took place in parallel. This was possible thanks to the effective combination of PRINCE2 methodology used in order to keep the whole project under control, and SCRUM approach applied to software development under conditions of incomplete information about the requirements.

Last and most important. The success of the project was only possible thanks to the involvement of the Team –  Sii’s Power People, Cohesiva’s IT Special Forces, and close and effective cooperation with the Customer.

IT System e-KRK for Polish Ministry of Justice

Application integrating several systems with companies information, enabling clients to quickly verify contractors, including detailed company data, reports as well as debts in BIG.
