As the second developer to join the team, I had the chance to grow with the company and lead many projects, some of which are viewed everyday by thousands of Nintendo and Pokemon fans.
Some of my responsibilities included:
- Delivering responsive and WCAG compliant websites
- Maintaining and designing internal libraries and tools
- Mentoring new and junior developers
- Code review and peer coding
- Leading projects and small teams of front-end developers
- Research and development of new technologies for integration into workflow and libraries

Senior Front-end Web Developer

As a front-end engineer at R&P my responsibilities include:
- Work on clients and partners products as well as R&P own products, delivering responsive, performant and accessible first-class web applications driven by customer feedback.
- Peer review other team member’s code, always learning and adapting from peer review of my own
- Support sales, designers and project managers with technical insights, leading to the creation of budgets and schedules for projects
- Help with the interview process for front-end roles

Senior Front-end Engineer

I joined Shopify as part of the Functions team working on the client facing dashboard for managing Shopify Functions. After a few months I was transfered to the Shopify Subscriptions team and worked on the subscription mangement dashboard. During my time there I also contributed to Polaris whenever I could as design systems are something I truly enjoy.
I learned an immense amount about working and contributing to large scale systems which gave an even deeper appreciation for my craft and coleagues.
