Plan the work before your coding agent writes it.Coding agents can implement quickly. But when the project is vague, important decisions about scope, dependencies, and implementation get made without an explicit agreement.Archseed is a CLI-first, IDE-agnostic workflow that helps you make those decisions visible before implementation.Start with a short project description—not a long architecture interview. Confirm the smallest useful V1, explicit non-goals, fixed technical choices, open questions, and guardrails. Review the contract before Archseed creates your project context. The updated Quick Start flow:Describe the project → Confirm scope and boundaries → Answer a few relevant follow-ups → Review the contract → Generate context → Hand it to your coding agentArchseed creates four files in .archseed/:

project-contract.md — approved scope, decisions, non-goals, and open questions

agent-context.md — instructions for your coding agent

implementation-plan.md — a starting plan for implementation

review-checklist.md — criteria for reviewing plans and changes

Use the context with Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, or your preferred coding agent.Archseed does not generate application code or replace your editor. Quick Start is a structured workflow, not an AI analysis of your project. You review the decisions, and your coding agent implements.Free Quick StartRun archseed init without creating an account. If .archseed/ already exists, init refuses to overwrite or merge it automatically.Archseed Pro — Founder BetaFor existing Next.js/TypeScript repositories, Pro includes Adopt, adopt scan, and check: workflows for establishing a project baseline and running supported checks as the code changes. These are early capabilities, not a complete architecture audit or an automated PR-review system. The generated instructions do not technically prevent an agent from changing scope.Pro is $12/month. Your Founder Beta price stays locked while you remain subscribed.Try the free CLI:npm install -g @archseed/cli archseed initI’m looking for feedback from developers using coding agents on real projects: does the contract add useful clarity beyond your current planning workflow? For existing projects, do Adopt’s checks surface something actionable—or mostly noise?
