Solo developer building Mentavo, an AI coach for iPhone

Most journaling apps collect entries. Mentavo connects them.Mentavo is an AI coach for iPhone that draws on what you have recorded: journal entries, mood check-ins, goals, routines and earlier conversations. With your permission it can also consider how full your calendar is and your sleep, steps and workouts from Apple Health (read-only).
What makes it different

One next step, confirmed by you. When something concrete comes up, Mentavo suggests a goal, routine, goal step, journal entry or check-in as a card. Nothing is created until you tap.

Patterns with evidence. The Mentavo Map shows what tends to occur together in your entries, with the days it's based on and what speaks against it. A connection, not a cause.

Personal experiments. Observe a pattern for 7 or 14 days (Pro).

A daily focus with the reason why, instead of another to-do list.

Type or talk: dictation and voice mode (Pro).

Why I built it
I journaled in one app, tracked habits in another and talked things through with ChatGPT, and none of them knew about the others. Mentavo is my attempt to connect them: one coach that knows your entries, suggests one next step and asks before it creates anything. When it shows a pattern, it shows how many days it's based on and what speaks against it, because AI that always agrees isn't helpful.Free to start, with Pro and Premium subscriptions via the App Store. English and German. Calendar and Apple Health are off by default, data is stored in the EU, and personal data is never shared for advertising. Mentavo supports self-reflection and is not a substitute for professional help.App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mentavo-ai-coach-journal/id6796290944
